Wow! This week certainly was a week of firsts! This week was the first week for me as an official candidate for president, first week that I've - to be frank - been out of the house in a long time. With my wife working double time and me busy with, well, being a candidate for president, I haven't gotten time to get out of the house much, except to play with the chicks. Another first for me this week is that my teenage son took his driving test. The results are in, and he passed! Yay. This is also (obviously) my first blog post. Its exiting.
Man, this nerve wracking! My campaign supervisor hounds me day and night, asking about this and that, one of my chicks is sick, and my car is in the shop to be fixed. But, the polls are looking pretty good. The American people have warmed up to me. Now, some of you may be thinking "Why does a candidate for president keep a blog?" Good question. I know most candidates don't, but through my previous experience as governor of new Mexico (see bio) have found it less stressful to have one foot in the real world. But enough about me, here's some real world news that I found interesting:
-Coal producing states are charging environmentalists with blocking them from exporting the fuel to overseas nations.
- Elon Musk's SpaceX successfully launched a rocket to the international space station today, but the impact of landing on the loading dock was "too hard for survival."
- A Texas hospital delivered the first all girl quintuplets ever born in the US.
-Recent studies show, that while it relieves pain, Tylenol also blunts pressure.
Well, that's about all I have for this week, so see you next time.
Thanks,
Sam
